Ken Vaughan:

Owner/ Sales

My food service adventure started in May of 1974 when I joined Neptune Foods. I started off as a driver and then advanced to sales. I became Sales Manager in 1982 and Vice-President of Sales and shareholder. Neptune sold to Serca Foods in 1995 and in 1996 I was gone.  I bought into an Italian espresso machine business for five years, and then joined Sysco Food Services for ten years as Regional Vice-President of Sales.  Dale and I formed F.O.R.C.e in April 1, 2010 with the idea to service the chain account business in Canada by sourcing custom products.
 

With my over 40 years of experience in the British Columbian and Canadian food service industry, I have met many characters and maintained many relationships.  I have always believed in being honest with the customers and servicing their needs with a trusting attitude.  We can custom source anything your restaurant chain may need with net-net pricing. 

Dale Meldrum:

Partner/ Beverage Specialist

My journey into the coffee world started in 1983, with a company called Good Host Foods. This was a period where all beverage items including sundry products were sold and serviced from a 5-ton truck. One year later we were sold to Nestle Foodservice where I honed my skills with the ever-changing beverage market for 10 years. At the crossroads of life, I decided it was time to venture out into the entrepreneur world, which I must say was the best decision I could have made.
 

With close to 30 years invested in the coffee/beverage industry, my passion has never wavered. Quality is absolutely the key ingredient in making our programs successful, hence my decision to move roasting from a company in Ontario to one located right here in our own backyard. It is extremely important to have the ability to take our customers through the processing plants-customer involvement is encouraged. Commitment is something that we can never take for granted; it is our lifeline to success. As a F.O.R.C.e beverage customer you can feel totally confident that we will provide you with the highest quality products and service to custom tailor your specific requirements.

Steve Tindle:

​After working during my university days as a bartender and server at the Keg and Spectra Group, I started my career in Foodservice sales with Kraft in 1993.   I had the great fortune to work with  many fantastic people internally and externally who I learned a tremendous amount from.  I had many great experiences in increasingly more senior sales roles starting in Vancouver then Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton and back to Vancouver.  

Now with F.O.R.C.e Sales Group, I get to work with a highly motivated supportive team of professionals and continue working with a terrific group of customers.   I get extremely motivated finding solutions that help my customers be more successful.  In addition to the terrific products we represent, we provide custom product sourcing services.   If my customers are having a difficult time sourcing a product, want to source a unique or trendy product, don’t have time to source a product or think too much is being paid for a product, I will roll up my sleeves and leverage my experience and contacts to find a solution.
